JFK Assassination
|
So the Biden Government have blocked release of the documents and files connected to this. Well that just about confirms that it was an inside job.
The Oliver Stone film in 1991(?) blew my mind although later realised its inaccuracies and then when I unfortunately got banged up (defending oiks like u lot ;-)), all i had was access to books on it and even to this day, its the most read, learned period of my life where i really got to the bottom of a subject.
does it interest any of you lot? thoughts? stories?
for me, the best "tit bit" is the famous photo of 3 homeless people being marched away from the area as they cleared the scene and turns out 2 of them were high ranking CIA men

Blimey. You'd think the CIA would pay their high ranking personnel enough that they could afford to rent a flat, at least.

The hobos were lookalikes for Howard Hunt and Frank Sturgis. Remarkable resemblance
I was obsessed with this for years in my 20’s. My opinion is that Oswald was the shooter but the establishment was involved and that’s why he was bumped off.
All that magic bullet stuff in the movie which is used to ‘prove’ Oswald couldn’t have acted alone is a load of old shite IMO

/have you seen that bullet that they claim to have found at scene that is almost completely intact? No bullet can do what they claim it did and look almost brand new. The government or insiders killed him for sure, hence them stopping the release. it changed the world. Bush snr was involved and ended up running the US later in life...the implications that we have been run by a corrupt system that lies to its people is MASSIVE (almost as massive as west ham currently)

If it's not to protect the guilty, what conceivable reason is there not to release relevant files?

"the implications that we have been run by a corrupt system that lies to its people is MASSIVE"
Doesn't everyone believe this is the case even without any sort of conspiracy theory?

Catholic cover up?
While I was studying for my OU degree, we had a basic on-line text-based chat facility for our various groups. This was a few years before WWW became a thing.
Someone on one of the groups claimed JFK was shot because he wanted to break the hold the sponsors of the Federal Reserve had on policy making in the government and they were having none of it.
I was never THAT interested in the case, although some of it (still) does not add up, and I never followed up on the claim.

JFK from about 6:30
Talking about secret societies that conspire to take over the world
Of course this is now called conspiracy theory nonsense and JFK was murdered soon after this speech by a lucky shot by Lee Harvey Oswald.
There are no conspiracies, only coincidences.

A good historic post Pentonville, maybe one for a week day though.
Oswald’s former marine officer-in-charge Robert Block didn’t think Oswald had the marksmanship capabilities to carry it off.
His marine rating of "sharpshooter" was middle of the range of the 3 skill levels required. Most marines would be ashamed to wear a sharpshooter badge on their uniform.
Their was the possibility he could have practiced when he left the marines and went to Russia, but his marksmanship skills would have had to of improved tenfold, especially to hit a moving target.

My takeaway re the average marksman comments is that some said he was bob average whereas others said he was decent. And a bob average marksman would be a shitload better than your man on the street.
The target was also fairly static, in his eyeline the whole time and slowly moving away from him.
If he’s set for the first shot then he has 10 seconds to rattle off 2 more so 5 seconds to reload, aim, fire. Seems fairly do-able for someone with his experience
